just fyi... I've talked to several people who have had older sti's and traded for the new one, every single one of them hate it.

One of my best friends had a '04 STi and loved it. He'd still have it today if it hadn't been stolen a couple years ago.

yea my boss has an 04 sti with a bigger turbo, turbo back 3inch exaust, some efi system and we just put a meth kit on it, laid down 410 to all 4 wheels and 405 lbs ft. He thought about trading it in on a new one untill he went and test drove one

we have a bunch of parts delivery guys that have new sti's also... they hate em

I might agree with you on the new ones, I'm still rather fond of the older ones, though.

Subaru did hop up the '09 WRX, though, supposed to be quite a bit nicer than the '08 (since most loyalists complained that the '08 sucked big time).

I'd be damn pissed if I had bought an '08.

Trying to better fit into the "sport compact" scene - a la old Civic Si, VW GTI, VW R32, Mazdaspeed3, SVT Focus, Mini Cooper S, Acura RSX, Volvo C30, Caliber SRT4 and Audi A3.

Of course, I'm pretty sure you can at least get the WRX in sedan form, though I think it looks worse than the hatch form.

Well, we can has an 07 Shelby GT in white. Maybe it does get beat in all the categories by that ugly ass egg, but it damn sure won't make the brches holla like the Mustang does.

I know but still... they cut off its balls and the sedans yes are fugly as well, only good looking subaru out now are the legacy's.
