Darkmesa Blog #1

Hello all, I plan on using my blog to write about my progress with darkmesa.com as well as to try and inspire others to use this system as well.

First off, I've had a busy week so far releasing a couple of beta skins that I am working on finishing, tweaking and changing daily. I will be taking down the pink skin later this evening to refresh that, as well as update the older 2007 skin. The front page is being reformated and changed over to a new skin and I will have it back up and online tonight.

Darkmesa is now a legal entity and Darkmesa is now a brand of Darkmesa Entertainment or (DME) for short. I've decided to become an entity for a few reasons, the most important is to protect this forum, it's users and our future plans for the forum, this will provide us with legal protection including protection for our future merchandise that we decide to produce.

There has been a lot of talk about t-shirts, beanies, stickers, etc. I am in talks currently with a couple of local companies that will be producing merchandise for us, if everything continues as planned, our merchandise will be available in late july. So far what is planned is t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, hats, beanies, a variety of die cut vinyl stickers and regular stickers and business cards. I will release more information as soon as more comes available.

There are many more good things in store, I am in process of building a better darkmesa for us, just be patient.
