i don't see what the big deal is with all of this. He simply didn't know, or forgot or whatever, I didn't know that they still had ties in the nfl, I never thought about it and figured that they had some other way of finishing.

the guy gets so much shit from everyone and i don't understand why, he's a great qb.

Last time there was an tie was in 2002, doubtful that many people knew that, doubtful many people dont know that there isnt 2OT until playoffs too.

im not saying all players should know rule book from back to front, but on something like that??? i dunno how you can't. then agian i learned when i was twelve... i think there was even like 2 or 3 ties the year i learned it could happen

It's been a pretty hotly debated topic the past few years as many people have been calling for a change to overtime setup in the NFL.

He should have known; simple, said, done.
