It is a nice tractor does the job easier then my little Mitsubishi tractor.
there is a ton of clay and thats what I was trying to dig out. and make into a nice little stream with a storage pond. I have to wait until monday to dig to deep because I've got power and phone guys coming out to stake out where the lines are run and how deep. I'll be laying down gravel on the driveway. I havent decided what kind to go with just yet though. I might go with a little bigger rock gravel to help the torrential rains drain off.

This is my first "gravel" drive and I have recy. concrete/ asphault, it packed down very nice and still lets the water through, I didn't know the driveway can cost so much money to maintain. I got a quote for asphault and it was 10k , so like you I just had a bunch trucked in and rented a bobcat for the afternoon to spread it out. Your drive looks very long though mine is about 200ft.
Your luck you have clay i have sand all sand , i can dig a hole to china with a shovel... You have any pics of this pond your trying to dig?

Ill second the recycled millings that S&B is talking about. We did a mile long trail with them at one of the parks and it turned out pretty badass. If you take the time to compact it well, it almost turns rock solid. And it will continue to compact as you drive over it day to day. Cheap as shit too.

unless you have clay clay, i would'nt put the pond that close to the drive, if the ups man gets too close his truck might be gobbled up by your pond, or when the pond floods, you wont be able to leave the house

I hope your planning on getting some of those big ass goldfish. 4 feet is pretty damn deep, you could almost swim in there.
