nice

I just had :

No hop taste to it at all, but holyshit was it rich, a meal in every drink (not for the budlight drinking pussies)

Then other end of the spectrum I had:

SUPER HOPPY and also rich and a "meal in every drink". holy balls I loved it

nice Hammy.

I changed my mind, going to try either the rouge dead guy, or midas touch first...leaving the pumpkinhead for tom w/ pumpkin pie.

Midas is supposedly like a wine, suppose to be good with fish which we are having...might have to try it.

okay...my review on Dogfish head Midas Touch

I rate it a B-

Appearance- golden hazy amber and honey color, little to no head, noticeable carbonation, and fizz champagne like.

Smell- honey, and grapey, with hints of alcohol and barley.

Taste- sharp, but not over powering grape tasting, as well as wheaty, grape skin after taste lingers.

Mouth feel- syrupy and smooth with a soda like fizz at first, after that smooth and dry

Drinkability- definitely not an every day beer, or even a weekly beer...best shared between 2, its unique and really pushes the edge to what you can call a beer. would I have it again? I won't go out of my way...but wouldn't turn it down.

I rate this an A-

Appearance- DARK, wow this is the darkest beer I've ever seen, pitch black, HUGE foamy head, lasts for days did I say this was dark?

Smell- smell was kind of hidden by the head, strong coffee smell, nutty chocolate, hints of hops.

Taste- this beer has so many layers its hard to describe them all, its a full bodied strong beer, with a 9% ABV but you can't taste it at all. taste like chocolate, and caramel, some would say bitter...not to me. VERY complex.

Mouth feel- smooth inky bitter Full bodied Slickness that coats the mouth. Generally very smooth and creamy apart from the carbonation.

Drinkablity- Very drinkable, I highly enjoyed this beer for sure, very complex, inciting flavors, and very filling.

The entire Sam Adams Winter Classics Variety Pack.
My buddy and I got it last year and honestly I don't think I enjoyed one of the brews (Old Fezziwig Ale, Holiday Porter, Cranberry Lambic, of course Boston Lager, Winter Lager and ... CREAM STOUT!) but since then I've really branched out my beer tastes and shit, they are all great in their own way.

My personal rankings:
1. Winter Lager
2. Old Fezziwig Ale
3. Boston Lager
4. Cream Stout
5. Cranberry Lambic
6. Holiday Porter
