Can be pricey, but rack of lamb on the grill seasoned with some garlic pepper and some salt is deeeeeeeeeeeeeee-lish. My parents make it for New Years dinner every year.

basically take a filet mignon and make it a little sweeter and more tender, and you basically have lamb. There is I think, 3 types of "Lamb" meat. Lamb, hogget, and mutton. Lamb is the more tender.... basically like Veal is in the cow meat world, very soft and tender. Hogget and Mutton are take from the older sheeps, it's a little more chewier and tougher than Lamb.
