Thanks, and I'm definitely open to suggestions. I'm epic fail at decorating, probably just lucky I can dress myself in the mornings... Luckily, my sisters place looks awesome and my sister-in-law is the garage sale master, so I'm just going to do what they tell me.

I honestly can't say I'd ever notice crown molding (or lack thereof) in a place. I'll stop by the model homes some time and see if they have crown molding to give me something to compare it to.
I have some paint programs I will throw some colors onto the walls to see what you think. Browns? And I will do a blue... maybe a yellowish brown.. like wheat stalks also. What you thinking for the kitchen? I will play with that too, just did a burgandyish red to a place.. will see if I have those pics on the faptop.

I'm officially a homeowner!

And I'm tired as fuck... Everything went well today, closing was easy peasy, got a bunch of junk moved over, got all the blinds up and a few of the fans, my appliances got delivered and garage door installed. Gonna take some afternoons off this week and get some painting done, then having some friends/family help move furniture on Saturday.

Some more pics tomorrow maybe, depending on what I get done.

Oh and Nate, the red in that kitchen looks pretty close to the color I'm doing in the downstairs half bath, I hope it turns out cool with the red/white look. Going with a light green in the master bedroom to match the sheets and should go well with my dark wood furniture. Other two bedrooms will be a sand/tan color, I think I might do a navy blue accent wall in the second bedroom to match the bed set that's going in there. Third bedroom is just going to be a computer room, I thought about doing a chair rail and a dark brown on the bottom but not sure yet.

PS: Location updated.

Me and my friends have been been too busy sunbathing off the southern coast of St. Bart's with spider monkeys for the past two weeks, tripping on acid. Changed our whole perspective on shit...so you can Dere-lick my balls cap-i-tan

Truth. I'm not making great money right now but I'm loading the ING savings while I'm still with Mommy and Daddy.

Oh and pinski - Ricky Astley was on Pop-up video the other day and I almost shit my pants!

Thanks everyone.

Had some epic fail happen yesterday, I was supposed to have 3 days to transfer water and power to my name. But, KB hadn't been paying their water bill so my house and about a dozen others that haven't sold yet were shut off yesterday morning. I had already put in the request to transfer service, but they hadn't processed it yet so I got shut off. So then I couldn't paint, and the sheets for my new bed are stuck in the washing machine in soapy water.

Supposedly everything got transferred now though and it should be on already, will find out at lunch for sure.

And it only took 3 calls to Brighthouse (cable) for them to figure out they did actually need to send someone to my house, so should have TV and Internet there this afternoon.

I called the power company this morning just to make sure they got my transfer processed and weren't going to shut me off or anything, too.

geeze. that sucks lol.

brighthouse has been pissing me off as of lately, they charged me something like $200 to transfer services to my new addy a few months ago. it was clearly a mistake but they weren't hearing that.

yeah here too with brighthouse bowlershits...

called Verizon 1 more time to give them a chance... failed YET AGIAN!!!!

to have the EXACT service with only slightly faster internet speeds than im currently experiencing its an extra 24.95 a month BEFORE TAXES...

cancel the "home phone option" and its a whopping 14.95 more

and thats locked in to a 2 year contract. my only contract right now with good's and services are our cell phones. so eff dat noise.

MAYBE when i graduate and have the funds to do the quad HDTV conversion in the house ill go with verizon since they have the multiroom, and i hear their HD selection/service is better. but for now bright house is mucho cheaper and moneys starting to get tight as we pay out of pocket more and more for school...

oh yeah and i EXTREAMELY LOVE BAY NEWS 9
