Craftsman trimmer straight shaft Should I get it?

It is a refurb.. normally 150.00 was sent back to the factory cause the asshat didn't add in the oil to the gas and blew the engine. Factory rebuilt/installed new engine and it is being offered for 90.00 and holds all warranties.

Need one, it is NOT a bump for more line type, you thread in the heavy gauge stuff. I need one to edge all the stuff round the house and all.. should I get it? 60.00 off would you in my position? I don't own one, never have and know NOone with a trimmer.. REALLY thinking bout doing it..

I own an Echo...they are $$$ but you get what you pay for it is by far the best weed eater I've ever used. our good family friend who owns a commercial lawn care business and does 90% commercial property uses Echo weed eaters and has been for years and loves them.

wtf is a trimmer?

Chad

I'm just a crazy fanatic about buying a power tool of any sort secondhand. Just my spin. I got bit by the concept once; will not repeat.

If they were giving it away or it was 80 to 90 percent price-reduced, I might give it a second look.

The reason I usually stay away from Ryobi and Dewalt cause I ALWAYS see refurbed stuff for sale. I hear ya though.. I keep going in hoping they discount the shit outta it.. but sadly they do not. I would take it if it were say... 60.00.. can't go wrong with it then. But went out this morning and the grass is dieing off so I don't have the burning need I thought I did for it

Chad I will lookinto echo
