When the wife and I were in Napa, we visited a few wineries (V. Sattui, Rubicon Estate, Alpha Omega and a few others that I don't remember off-hand) and my favorite for vibrant flavors was definitely AO. We ended up ordering a couple bottles of their Chardonnay and Rose and had them shipped home. Their wine is only sold locally and on-line.

A boutique winery located on Hwy 29 in Rutherford California, Napa Valley

Prices for theirs are very moderate. The stuff at Rubicon Estate (owned by Francis Ford Coppola) was okay, and you can find it in grocery stores. They did have the coolest tour, though. Rubicon Estate | Napa Valley, CA

V. Sattui had every type of wine possible, but all were relatively mediocre, even to n00bs like us. Most of theirs were pretty cheap, though, and tasted it. www.vsattui.com
