How do you cut a clove?

My mom is making bruschetta and is asking me, I guess my Dad wanted to make it but won't be home until later than he thought so she is making it ... I have no idea.
Is there a special way?

cloves? do you mean a clove of garlic?

you have to peel the skin off, then cut it in half. placeing it underneath the broadside (flat part) of the blade of your knife and then give it one good pound with the bottom of your fist, and that should make it easier to take the skin off of the garlic.

or you can save alot of time and just go buy some minced garlic for like $3, the flavor isn't effected to much.

Yea, my bad, a clove of garlic. She already cut it and mixed it was the tomato/basil/etc. and is smells of garlic so who knows. My dad wanted fresh stuff, we have some minced stuff in the cupboard but he wasn't having it. Thanks for your help!

I keed! Those things are 399.99! I didn't know you could actually buy them

I have absolute faith in them though... wouldn't hesitate to buy one after you see it SHRED a tiki torch

lifetime garentee, name, and the BEST blander evar is what your buying. if i did enough blending id get 2 after college...
