o damn you mean you have to pay a monthly fee for something that people constantly work on? I thought all the people monitoring the servers, making patches, adding new material, helping people in game did it for free. Not to mention the bandwidth and upkeep costs of servers

diable you played for free, it suxked after playing it for awhile. MMO's usually do not.

gta was alright but never played much. ff blows always.

but EQ doesn't end. so people play
and play
and play and play and play
and they fail out of school and then they play more when they scrounge up the money
then fools sell stuff on ebay and sony gets angry so they tell ebay to not let people sell stuff

eq was piss boring, people had to camp for days to kill a monster with a certain item. good money maker and life destroyer though

2 guys on my floor flunked out of school playin that shit 24/7 and i don't know why, it was incredibly boring

I knew a kid who flunked out because of GTA 3, god that is so lame. I play a lot, but again I am not in the real world as of yet. I know my gaming will go way down once i get a job. But playing for hours a day when I have nothing to do till thailand isn't so bad.
