That Terlingua Mustang (being Shelby's own race team) was rebuilt.. you could actually order a NOS/restro 1966 Mustangs from Dallas Mustang. Kenny Northum is the one that is in charge of selecting the mustangs and supervising the builds.
Here is an article about those stangs.

Here is a video of him describing a gold medallion concours build

That's my brother-in-law's stepdad. He is a genius with mustangs. I will have to see if he is working on these also. These are right up there with the GTR IMO.

It is! And I live 15 minutes away from Infineon Raceway; where Griggs Racing is really stationed. According to Google; that hill climb is 5.2 miles long.
