they had 2 retired drag racers race them yesterday during the nhra races I dont think either driver had been in the seat in awhile lol one ran a high 11 the other a low 11 @ 128 mph

meh, 4000lbs isnt that much for a car, if you take into consideration the new mustang, the new challenger, and the new camaro dont weigh that much more than their original counter parts, yet they have much more power, and alot more crap stuffed into them, wich contrary to everone on here, most of the people that will actually be buying them want.

? I'm confused, what are you comparing them to, exactly? A late 60's Camaro weighed under 3,000 pounds.

the charger counterpart weight over 3,000lbs, the late 60 camaro's weighed right around 3,000lbs depending on the motor and options, same with the mustang. other cars that are closer to the size of the current cars, say my old 66 chevelle wich is pretty damn close to the length of the new challenger weighed just over 3,800 lbs with a small block with zero options... and if you add all the crap that the new cars have in them I would bet money that they old counterparts would actually weigh more than these new cars. basicly what I'm trying to say is I'm sick of people complaining about the weight of the new cars they have more power, are more economical, handle better and the have all the crap in them that 99% of the people who will actually lay out the cash for them want. Spoken like a true marketer. If the majority of American citizens wanted just pure performance cars and bikes. Then car manufac's would appeal to these needs.

true... but thats 10k more and its less powerfull only has 2 seats and I bet that if we could see the actuall cost to build all 4 cars we'd find out that gm doesnt make shit off of the vette
