1965 Shelby G.T.-350
2000 SVT Cobra R
2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones S-302

Ummmmmmmm, no Terminator?

Scratch the R for a Terminator and replace the sellout-Saleen turd with a Roush Stage3.

BUT my young Raj.. it IS what put the R in ford Racing and SVT.. it was the first of it's horses to have the R.. and 1993 was officially the first year of SVT AS SVT... so the significance of it is pretty great..

in my heart, nothing can compete with the 03/04's... yet. Affordable, reliable, dominating speed, good looks, easy and cheap to mod, takes well to mods, and loses less reliability after heavy mods than most cars...

Kind of hard to say what newer generation cars are "best ever made" from anything is current. Boss 351, 429, Terminator, 68 R code and S351 should be higher up.

The S351 is a better car than the S302PJ imo. The terminator should have beat the 00r.

I agree. Mock me if you want but an '03/'04 Cobra is my dream Mustang at this point in my life.

I disagree - I'm not going to mock, but personally, I'm not going to consider anything my "dream" Mustang that's readily available for an affordable price. I'm not disputing that the '03/04 Cobra is one of the all-time greatest Mustangs ever produced, or that it's an amazing performance value... But, to me, a "dream" Mustang would be something that's very rare and unattainable by me - like a '67 Shelby GT500, the SR pictured above, a Mystichrome Saleen Cobra, or a new GT500KR or SuperSnake.

Maybe that's just me, though.

SR's are Mustangs, highly modified, but they are still considered a Mustang.

TMS also had a poll for race cars too so the SR wouldn't count.
