It seems like across the board people in general aren't being as responsible as they should. People are so quick to blame someone else for their own shortcomings its unreal. What happened to people having integrity?

Part of me wants them to lower it but part of me doesn't. I agree there are waaay to many people out there that are to immature for their own age. For example I drive around two of my friends, whom are about as old as me, they drink A TON and I drive.

I get asked by people why do you do it? I reply would you rather me drive around under age drinkers, or would you rather have under age drinkers drive themselves around? Drunk driving happens all the time and it would only increase ten fold if the age was lowered.

I agree, teachers are only employed to to TEACH, hence the name TEACHer....no teachparenter, or Imraisingyourson/daughterbecauseyouaretoostupidtooer.

I've been raised being able to have nice things, I don't have to pay for anything, but I still understand how hard my parents have to work for a dollar.

I think there was safe sex talk in this too, so I will elaborate..

I think.. we should allow 18 yr olds the ability to drink.. cause @ that age you can enlist in the armed forces, taught to kill, and shipped off to a foreign land and expected to live. What does that have to do with anything? Well the thought that you are old enough to take a bullet, yet not old enough to take a shot.. is kinda my thinking along those lines.. yes it is kinda an iffy line but

I think we need to introduce a class/material on self esteem into school. I think that if we did that and not just some hokey fucking 45 min program @ one time in a year (if lucky) on the subject, I think it needs to be talked about more. Peer pressure DOES exist and I think it is bullshit. I constantly work in the positive way on my son, let him know about life and what cliques of people do.. and to like everyone if you can.

I agree that in middle school, they need a more comprehensive sex class. Also, Im pretty positive that soldiers can drink beer while on base, so that kinda kills the drinking/take a bullet thing too.

Shit, there are COLLEGE kids that dont need alcohol, I cant imagine a bunch of 18 year olds running around with it...

I was able to drink in gradeschool. What I mean by that is that my family didn't care if I grabbed a beer.. had a drinking contest w/ my stepdad back in like 5th grade me thinks.. I am not really a drinker, nor have I ever really been. I guess it was around and was really just meh.. what I am trying to say is that responsibility is the key.. not the drinking. Guns don't kill people, peope kill people...
