Great speeches throughout history

I got the idea for this thread a few days ago after watching a few documentaries. So I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone posts up in regards to this.

Now the speech can be posted up in either video or text or both, and if you can explain why you think that specific speech was a "great" one then please elaborate why.

The greatness of the speeches you post are completely based on your own opinions. Try to keep any debates that may arise clean and mature as I would like to not have this thread locked







This speech in my opinion was a HUGE defining moment for the Civil Rights movement in America

Great speech because it was a huge symbol over Reagan's desire of freedom in the eastern block.

Ron Paul at the Rally for the Republic

He comes on stage at 13 minutes in, but we cheered for a couple of minutes. So it starts about 15-16minutes in. Ron Paul at the Rally for the Republic on 9/2/08 from the target center in Minneapolis.
