It's a good thing I don't have any money right now, because I'd be buying.

AAPL down almost 20%, GOOG down 10%. CAT and DE at their 52wk low. Even BUD was down today! Hell, on news like this you'd think their stock would go through the roof!

Heh. I bought 1,000 shares of Wachovia today at $1.60. Should be interesting to see how it goes... from everything some of the other analysts at work have told me, it should be a $15-20 stock.

Look into IBM and Intel. The chip market/industry (as in computer chip) is basically stagnant.. they are pouring money into the solar cell industry.. they are on the way up.. check out these companies.. I would move my money to these..

Also... Campbells soup is up $.12. Guess they are excited thinking bout the soup lines.

Que? Citigroup has an offer on the table to buy Wachovia, but for $1/share.... which somehow Wachovia's board agreed to. I'll be voting 1,000 times NO to the sale, because I think Wachovia can remain solvent, especially when this bailout passes, whatever its form. Dubya swore today that it would happen, even if he had to use some mythical executive power that his spokesman couldn't speak on.

Buying such a shakey stock is rife with Fail, but it also presents a great opportunity to make a ton off a rather meager investment.
