I got the LG enV yesterday. I like its features, like the two step 2 mega pixel camera, and the qwerty board. I also bought a 4 mb card for it.

Being that the Asian I am; I know I'll some how find a better use for 30 seconds of video, other than tape my friend eating Butterfinger ice cream when he's hella blazed.

Anyway, my contract ends in September with Verizon; and I've been thinking of trading this phone in for a Blackberry Pearl.

Yes, it's orange. It's the only color they had. It's obnoxious and I have a habit of misplacing my phone. I also know it's not the best looking phone. But, I really like the features.

lg = money at least as far as the verizon phones go, only problem I've ever had with one was my chocolates toutch pad went bad after it went through the washing machine

I fucking hate the bullshit system we have in the US. Here I goto the mall and I have a choice of 300+ different phones from 2000-2008. All are unlocked and you can get most of em secondhand. there must be atleast 10,000 phones for sale in the big mall here. I could trade in a phone everyday, all I gotta do is pop out the sim. I might get a nice quadband phone before coming home.

yeah that would be awesome. You could go to whatever company, whenever with whatever cell you had. It used to kinda be like that, people bitched at a year contract, THEN overnight you had to sign a 2 yr.. for anything.. changing minutes, changing cells (unless you got it off ebay or from a friend) << which is the only way you can buy a cell here.. can't buy a new cell and not activate it.. oh no! You are right.. our cell companies blow donkeys here

here you have a choice. you can get a contract where you get a monthly bill and you can end it ANY TIME. or you get fillup cards from local stores etc. Oh and texting costs like 1-2 cents

Tried it; didn't work. Since it's new. I tried to format it. But, it still acted like nothing was there. I even made sure the SD card was securely in the port; and still nothing.
