What would you do if you found out your "other" was cheating?

Don't know why I just thought of this, but there are a bunch of us with different backgrounds and all.. was just wondering what you guys would do if you found out that your "other" was cheating. pole added.

I didn't really know what to put up.. but while doing it thought of the dynamic of all the relationships on the board.. I have it public, but if that isn't wanted I am sure the mods can take care of putting it to private if wanted.

Confront. But only if you have solid proof. If just suspicious without hard evicdence, well, that makes it harder. Not sure.

yeah didn't really know what to add to the pole

but me.. I would just say something like "have fun with her.." and I think at that moment or very soon after I would be done with her. I would go and get all the monies out and probably call in dead to work and go somewhere tropical for a week.. while waiting for plane ticket I would be leaving message with attorney.. hey need some help..

IF the relationship was strange to begin with. Also if we had kids and didn't want to break all the personal shit up then it would be the best choice in some instances. Only keeping the stuff on the D/L from the kids

Pre-offspring? Laugh, bail, never look back. It's drama not desired nor required in life.

Kids throw an interesting hook into the story. One has to think about more than one's self before making a choice or choices that could ultimately scar someone (who is beyond the locus of control within the situation) for life. I don't have an answer for this second situation at this point.
